The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) is proud to announce its partnership with Taser International. In his October 20, 2003 Finding Our Heroes Article, NLEOMF Chairman Craig Floyd stated, "Sophisticated training programs teach officers how to defuse and survive potentially lethal situations. Technology such as the Advanced Taser allows officers to use non-lethal force to control suspects, reducing injuries to both officers and suspects." According to TASER, since 1999 the stun gun has saved more than 4,000 lives.
