The January 2014 Caption Contest Winner is...

Congratulations to Eric A. for submitting the winning caption!

Locating a .32 S&W Break-Top in its natural habitat was easy. Sneaking up on one took incredible skill and patience. –Robert K.

My Gun And I On Vacation. Having A Lovely Time. Wish You Were Here. –Pam K.

A deputy who believes it's better to be a sharp dresser than a sharp shooter is exiled "to think about his attitude." –Bernadette S.

Now here’s what we really know about this photo. While we’re not sure who the dapper gentleman is, his picture was taken at W.H. Jacobs’s Artistic Photography Studio in Eagle Grove, Iowa, in 1893.
