Description: Lieutenant Walker was struck and killed by a vehicle while at the scene of an earlier accident. Lieutenant Walker and a Department of Transportation employee were working the accident scene when a motorist lost control of his car and slammed into the Department of Transportation vehicle. Lieutenant Walker and the State employee were both injured critically. Lieutenant Walker died at the scene before he could be transferred to the hospital.
