Description: Patrolman Crawshaw was shot and killed while responding to a domestic disturbance call. Patrolman Crawshaw was the first officer to arrive on the scene and, per department protocol, waited in his police cruiser for other officers to arrive. As Patrolman Crawshaw waited, an assailant approached his vehicle and shot him with an assault rifle. Patrolman Crawshaw succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The suspect was arrested and charged with burglary and two counts of homicide.
