Description: Police Officer Bailey was shot and killed during an attempted armed robbery at his home. Officer Bailey had just returned from a mayoral protection detail in uniform, when three suspects approached him and tried to carjack him. Officer Bailey identified himself as an officer and a gunbattle ensued. Officer Bailey was fatally shot and died at the scene. The suspects fled the scene.
