Description: Sergeant Findley was intentionally struck while attempting to stop a stolen vehicle. Sergeant Findley and his partner observed two suspects approach and steal a truck. When Sergeant Findley and his partner attempted to block the stolen vehicle's path, the suspects rammed into the vehicle. As Sergeant Findley exited his patrol vehicle and drew his service weapon, the suspect intentionally struck and dragged him for several yards. Sergeant Findley was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
