I would like to honor his devotion and sacrifice for protecting the citizens of Ludowici. He never gave it a second thought when it came to doing his job, whether he was on duty or not. He was dedicated 100% to being a Law Enforcement Officer from day one. He is greatly missed by so many people as well as myself!

Kelly was a Marion County Oregon Deputy Sheriff. He died in firey head on crash while responding code 3. Hit by driver who coming from other direction of highway was passing all cars pulling over thus hitting Kelly's car head on. Ammo in trunk got hot from fire and started to go off keeping emergency personell from rescuing him from the burning car. He is one of Oregon's fallen heros, giving his life for his fellow Oregonians

Gave his life serving and protecting the people of Palm Beach County, Florida.

Chris, Jeff, Ben, and Gabi are doing the best they can. There is not a day that goes by we all aren't missing you. I left Gabi's 2023 prom picture at the wall under your name. She looked absolutely stunning. She will graduate here on May 24, 2023. In your honor this year we volunteered and represented MD COPS during National Police Week 2023.

Honoring the memory of my Grandfather, Sergeant Glen E. Jones of the North Milwaukee (later the City of Milwaukee) Police Department, from 1925 to 1950.

Our public safety officers are sometimes the forgotten heroes. They are taken for granted until someone else is putting your life in danger and you need help quickly. There might just come a time when one of them are in a jam and need our help quickly. Thats when we might find out how selfless each and everyone of them are. Fund the police!

My older brother Mark Orefice was a sergeant in the 34th Pct. when Michael was killed. The ultimate sacrifice. I'm sending this note to honor this fallen hero and to also honor my brother Mark who attends this memorial every year. I come from a family of Blue. My father Robert Orefice was a patrolman. My uncle Frank Orefice was Highway 2. My uncle Larry Gatto was a gold shield detective. Blue is in my DNA. Please keep honoring the fallen and keep their memories alive.
