randy lackey

Our public safety officers are sometimes the forgotten heroes. They are taken for granted until someone else is putting your life in danger and you need help quickly. There might just come a time when one of them are in a jam and need our help quickly. Thats when we might find out how selfless each and everyone of them are. Fund the police!

My older brother Mark Orefice was a sergeant in the 34th Pct. when Michael was killed. The ultimate sacrifice. I'm sending this note to honor this fallen hero and to also honor my brother Mark who attends this memorial every year. I come from a family of Blue. My father Robert Orefice was a patrolman. My uncle Frank Orefice was Highway 2. My uncle Larry Gatto was a gold shield detective. Blue is in my DNA. Please keep honoring the fallen and keep their memories alive. With full respect and love, Tom Orefice
