Media Credentials

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund will issue credentials to bona fide members of the news media for the purpose of covering the Candlelight Vigil on May 13, 2017. The 2017 Candlelight Vigil will take place on the National Mall between 4th and 7th streets.

  News media members requesting credentials for the Candlelight Vigil should fill out the form below. If more than one credential is needed, please submit the form below for each individual who will be present at the ceremony.

Credential requests will be reviewed by the NLEOMF, and upon approval, news media representatives will receive an email with instructions on picking up their credentials.

The deadline for submitting credential requests is 5:00 pm EDT, Friday, May 12, 2017.

NOTES: The credentials issued by the NLEOMF are for the purpose of covering the Candlelight Vigil on May 13, 2017, only. NLEOMF credentials are not valid for the Peace Officers Memorial Day Service at the U.S. Capitol on May 15, 2017. For information on credentials for the May 15 ceremony, please email Mike Cobb, Media Coordinator (PIO) at policeweekmedia@gmail.com or (509) 942-8990. Standard media credentials from your outlet should be worn when covering events at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial during National Police Week.
