Development Outreach Associate
The role of the Development Outreach Associate is to reach out to current and prospective donors via phone and email, a majority of who have shown interest in making a contribution through a gift discovery survey. The position will engage supporters in conversation, ask them questions about their lives and interests, provide them with information regarding how they can make an impact and, most importantly, set up meetings with a member of the our staff to discuss their options further.
The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (“NLEOMF”) seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated museum professional to become the Collections Manager for the National Law Enforcement Museum (“Museum”). The new 57,000 sq. ft. Museum will open in downtown Washington, DC, in 2018 with an expected 400,000 annual visitors. The Museum will tell the story of American law enforcement through a dynamic mix of artifacts, state of the art audiovisual presentations, and creative programming. The Collections Manager will be a key member of the small team of museum professionals who are building the Museum. The National Law Enforcement Museum collection currently comprises over 17,000 artifacts that illustrate the dynamic and rich history of American law enforcement, from the 1600s to the present. The Museum’s ever-growing, extensive inventory of artifacts will prove to be the most comprehensive collection of law enforcement history in the United States.
Director of Education
The Director of Education for the National Law Enforcement Museum will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing educational programs that further the public’s understanding of law enforcement and strengthen the bonds between law enforcement and the community. The Director of Education will lead the ongoing efforts to develop creative programming that will engage diverse audiences in our story; setting priorities and framing the discussion around the development of the Museum’s educational agenda leading up to the opening of our new Museum building in mid to late 2018.Full Job Description
The Memorial Assistant serves all National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial stakeholders by keeping the Memorial and Kiosk clean, attractive and safe, while assisting visitors with locating their loved one’s name on the wall and providing explanations and tours about the Memorial.
This is a 40 hour per week position. The incumbent will work 8 hours per day; 5 days per week (Wednesday – Sunday).
Director of Sales
The Director of Sales for National Law Enforcement Museum (NLEM) is responsible for developing and implementing the sales and service strategy for the museum’s admission, membership, group, private event, corporate partnership sales and fulfillment. They are also responsible for building a sustainable service model that focuses on enhancing the guest experience and retention of consumers. They will do so through leading, developing and mentoring their team giving measurable and meaningful guidance, strategy and support.
