Scholarships Now Available for 2017

To apply for a scholarship to The Forensic Detectives, please submit the following items to the National Law Enforcement Museum’s Education Department.

  • A completed scholarship application form filled out by the parent or legal guardian of the student

  • A 500-word typed essay of student’s response to the following prompt

Law enforcement has been part of our nation’s history for hundreds of years. They protect, care, educate, and serve as leaders in the community. Forensic Science is an important tool that is used by Law Enforcement to be able to perform certain parts of their job. The Forensic Detectives will provide students with a hands-on experience and introduction to the world of Forensics and law enforcement. How would you benefit from attending this camp? What interest you most about the STEM related careers in Law Enforcement?



Before submitting an application read the complete Rules and Requirements. Please submit the application and essay on our website. If you choose to submit the application now and essay at a later time, please email the essay to camps@nleomf.org before the deadline.


Applications and essays are due no later than May 26, 2017. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis, so it is best to turn in complete applications early. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
